The Best Collection

Train Theater & Yonatan Ben Haim

For ages 4–8 and the whole family

Come and take a peek into collections of simple, ordinary objects — a collection of leaves, clouds, water, and earth — that together create delicate worlds of magic, playfulness, and childhood wonder.
Yonatan invites visitors to explore his personal collections: everyday, unremarkable objects through which he weaves a rich tapestry of theatrical moments following the cycles of the seasons and of life. Children and parents help the cloud collection soar once again with the wind, guide the flowing water on its journey by launching tiny boats (yes, really!), wait for a leaf to fall in autumn, and more.
The performance combines observation and hands-on participation, and as the collections are revealed one by one, children and parents embark on a poetic, emotional, and one-of-a-kind journey.
